چکیده

The key objective of this paper is to study the cyclic codes over mixed alphabets on structure FqPQ, where P=Fq[v]⟨v3−α22v⟩ and Q=Fq[u,v]⟨u2−α12,v3−α22v⟩ are nonchain finite rings αi in Fq/{0} for i∈{1,2}, q=pm with m≥1 a positive integer p an odd prime. On Skew Cyclic Codes over a Finite Ring

In this paper, we classify the skew cyclic codes over Fp + vF_p + v^2F_p, where p is a prime number and v^3 = v. Each skew cyclic code is a F_p+vF_p+v^2F_p-submodule of the (F_p+vF_p+v^2F_p)[x;alpha], where v^3 = v and alpha(v) = -v. Also, we give an explicit forms for the generator of these codes. Moreover, an algorithm of encoding and decoding for these codes is presented.

Quantum codes derived from cyclic codes

In this note, we present a construction of new nonbinary quantum codes with good parameters. These codes are obtained by applying the Calderbank-Shor-Steane (CSS) construction. In order to do this, we show the existence of (classical) cyclic codes whose defining set consists of only one cyclotomic coset containing at least two consecutive integers.
